Overview

This is the classic way to meet Mount Toubkal: one night in the mountains and one summit day. On the proposed route you travel early from Marrakech to Imlil, where you meet your guide and follow the Mizane Valley upstream, passing the village of Aremd and the shrine at Sidi Chamharouch before the path steepens towards the refuge at approximately 3,207 m.

The second day starts early. You climb towards the summit of Mount Toubkal, at 4,167 m the highest point in North Africa, then come back down to the refuge and continue to Imlil, from where the route returns to Marrakech.

Walking times depend on pace, weather and conditions, and the guide decides how the day unfolds on the mountain. We confirm the final itinerary, the price and what it includes (including transport) with you when you enquire.
